The first part of your half day tour is dedicated to charming Malahide Castle, its 800-year history and The Talbot family. The second part of this tour explores the scenic Dublin coastline, with a coastal drive from Malahide Village to Howth Village, where you will stop for a quick bite to eat before heading south along the beautiful area called Dublin Bay. En this tour you will also pass Bull Island and the Edwardian borough of Clontarf, as you begin to make your way back into Dublin’s City Centre.

Malahide Castle Tour

With Admission and a guided Malahide Castle Tour included, you can discover the Castle’s fascinating history. Learn about the famous Talbot family, which 800-year residence only ended in 1975. A stately and noble family, the Talbot’s were instrumental in many aspects of Irish life and their history is a timeline of the most important events in Irish and British relations for hundreds of years.

The Malahide Castle tour includes access to the interpretation and exhibition centres, entry to the superb Victorian Walled Botanical Gardens and the 250 acre parkland surrounding the castle.
